Bays Drag Olympics for Rocroft Hospice
Bays Drag Olympics
Wear a wig, don a dress and brave a bra to raise some vital funds for Rowcroft!
2010 sees the first Bays Drag Olympics, kindly sponsored by Bays Brewery! A fantastic new men-only fundraising event for Rowcroft Hospice, which will bring out the men of South Devon’s silly and competitive sides.
The action starts with a one mile qualifying race around Torre Abbey Meadows with the top performers going through to sports day style heats including a sack race and an egg and spoon race with a twist. There will also be silly competitions throughout the day; will you and your mates win the tug of war, will you have the best legs in Torbay? The day will culminate in crowning our ultimate ‘Bays Drag Olympic Champion’.
There’s just one rule! No dress – no entry!
How to enter?
Entry to this event is just £10 per person. But if you manage to gather a gaggle of ‘girls’ of 5 or more entry will be just £7.50 per person. All entries must be received by Friday 9th July 2010, giving you enough time to gather a frock, a wig and that all important lippy!
This entry fee covers the cost of putting on the event, so we do ask you to raise as much as possible from your friends and family, by asking them to sponsor you to run around dressed like your mum, nan, girlfriend, old dinner lady….. (don’t worry we will give you all the information you need to know about how to get the cash flowing in!)
