BBC Blast Proves to be a BANG!
The 3 day event by the BBC at Clennon Valley in Paignton has proven to be a massive success for young people aged 13-19.
The event by the BBC Blast team that offers lifetime skills and new knowledges from film production, photography sessions, music mixing, dancing, ‘Be a Radio DJ’.
Many schools across Torbay have taken part in the sessions that started on Thursday 15th, and a small showcase of all the days work took place at 5.30pm in the main marquee.
Many of the BBC Blast Sessions have been FULLY BOOKED, However, a few sessions have still got some places left, but are going ‘SuperFast’.
So, If you are intrested in any of the sessions that are going on during the 2days left, then pop down to Clennon Valley Car Park, where the BBC Blast team will fit you into something that you’d love to do!
All the best bits of the 3 days, will be preformed in the main marquee tent, on Saturday at 5.30pm.
This will be open to anyone and everyone, so pop down and see some of our up and coming stars of the young people in Torbay.
The BBC Blast team have been running for 7 years, and have toured right across the UK, giving these FREE sessions to young people aged 13-19.
BBC Blast have been to Paignton before, a few years ago, but this has been their most sucessful year so far.Part of the BBC Blast team was American student Rachel, who said
“This is a great experience for young people, and for me, everyone can learn so much, and if it’s something you’d like to do as a career, then pop down and speak to the experts – They’re the one’s with all the knowledge – I’m still learning it all. It’s great fun, and the best bit is ITS FREE!!!!. We’re here until Saturday, where the best bits of the 3 days will be preformed.”
