Free Event For Small Businesses
June is the month that the European Union focuses on small and medium size businesses, and as this sector is an important player in the Torbay economy, the TDA is keen to support initiatives to help local SMEs develop and prosper.
The free event includes presentations from Enterprise Europe Network, which helps small business to make the most of the European marketplace; and leading business support body, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) which helps UK companies succeed in international markets and assists overseas companies to bring high quality investment to the UK.
It will be an opportunity to hear what help there is on offer to businesses who would like to extend their trading markets to Europe.
The event is being held at early in the morning to enable small, busy enterprises to take part without disrupting their working day. Delegates are invited for networking and breakfast at 7.30am in the Rosetor Room, with presentations starting at 8.30am until 9.30am. At 8.30am Enterprise Europe Network will give a presentation on helping south west companies to trade in Europe and at 9.00am The UKTI will give a presentation with practical advice on how companies can get started in trading on international markets.
