Gala Concert Hits Torquay
Top Hat Productions have teamed up with the Cascade Singers to Stage a One-Night-Only Gala Evening, at the Princess Theatre, Torquay.
The Programme is a sparkling celebration of some of the world’s best-loved stage and film musicals, and partnership of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, and will feature favourite members from “Oklahoma!”, “The Sound Of Music”, “Carousel”, “The King and I”, “South Pacific”, “State Fair” and “Flower Drum Song”.
A Full scale concert orchestra (40+ Players) will accompany the ensemble of 36 singers and performers live on the stage, conducted by Carl Smith.
We spoke to Top Hat’s Co-Founder Kevin Scarbrough and he said “This Promises to be a very special and unforgettable evening. We are delighted to bring together the singing talents of Cascade and Top Hat Productions for the first time, but most of all we are very excited about performing with a large orchesta live on Stage.”
We are also very honoured to be supporting The Cystionsis Foundation UK. We want to help increase awareness of this rare and debilitating disease and raise funds to hel local toddler Drew Axford, his family and others like him.
Tickets are £14.50 for adults, £12 for concessions (Seniors, Students, Unwaged), £11 for groups of 10 or more and children under 16 are only £5.
