My Glitterballs Promotions Presents Glamrock Party at The Riviera Conference Centre Torquay
Drag out the flares, brush down your platforms, don your glitter wig and let’s get ready to party with legendary bands from the 70’s.
John Ross of My Glitterballs Promotions Limited says:
I am a self-confessed Glam Rock junkie and the 70’s was my era for which I have a real passion. I wanted to create something that would bring more fun and laughter into people’s lives particularly in the current economic climate and this new business venture is as far removed from recruitment as you can get! I know the team at the RICC very well and it was a golden opportunity for me to live my dream by bringing Slade to the South West at a premier venue. Hearing these iconic bands live will bring back some incredible memories and really pull the local community together as one. I want to create a ‘My Glitterballs’ culture so fans have a sense of belonging and I believe we can capture the imagination and build a massive following. We want to encourage everyone to fully take part in the fun by dressing up and really letting their hair down. I am very excited about the future planned events and meeting some of my musical heroes. I have big plans for 2011 including individual 70’s and 80’s events and comedy nights. I have formulated a great team of partners including ESW AV for the production, Pulse 8 who have created a fabulous website and Glen King Marketing so I am very excited about the future of My Glitterballs as a company.
