QPR, Bristol City and Yeovil to come to Plainmoor.

Queens Park Rangers, Bristol City and Yeovil Town are heading to Plainmoor in pre-season while the Gulls will to travel to Bovey Tracey in the pre-season games confimed so far.

Bovey Tracey will play Torquay United first on Wednesday 14th July (7:30pm kick-off) away at Bovey Tracey.

Queens Park Rangers, who are managed by former Torquay manager Niel Warnock will play the Gulls on Friday 16th July (7:30pm kick-off). QPR could well bring down Plymouth Argyle striker, Jamie Mackie with them as they are in negotiations for a £1 million transfer for the Pilgrims player.

Championship side Bristol City will be the next team to take on Torquay at Plainmoor on Wednesday 21st July with a 7:45pm kick-off. Bristol City were the team the Gulls leant Steve Collis from in the Gulls last game of the season in the 0-0 draw with Notts County.

Yeovil Town (League 1) will come to Plainmoor on Saturday 31st July with a 3:00pm kick-off and will be a Westcountry derby.

There could be other pre-season games confirmed soon with prices yet to be confirmed as well.

As it is the close season Gulls boss, Paul Buckle will be trying to tie down players as well as signing some extra added quality to the sqaud. Winger and fans favourite Mustapha Carayol has been offered a contract and has returned to his London home to think about it while negotiations are still continuing with keeper: Scott Bevan and defender Lathenal Rowe-Turner while defender Kevin Nicholson and midfilder Lee Mansell will both be signing 2-year contracts.

Bucks has been receiving loads of calls from agents of out-of-contract players from other clubs and could well-be thinking about offering contracts to these out-of-contact players.
