Sea Swim South Devon
Sign up now for Rowcroft Hospice’s first ever Sea Swim South Devon and be part of this brand new sponsored challenge. Swimmers will be raising vital funds to help those who need Rowcroft’s care in South Devon. We welcome all swimmers aged 16 and over, whether you are a novice swimmer or an experienced tri-athlete, sign up now and help make a difference!

On Sunday 12th September, two hundred swimmers will brave the stunning sea off Teignmouth Beach, South Devon in this one mile sponsored swim. Rowcroft, Torbay and South Devon’s hospice, is proud to be planning this event working with, amongst others, the Teignmouth RNLI, Teignmouth Surf and Life Saving Club and Sea Sports Southwest to ensure this unique event is safe as well as enjoyable. The funds raised from this event will go directly to those who are suffering from terminal illnesses and need Rowcroft’s specialist support and care.
The swim will start to the left hand side of the pier (if you are facing the beach) and will be a contained triangular route swimming towards East Cliff and back again. The swim will be well away from the Estuary.

Entry is just £10 per person and swimmers will be asked to raise as much sponsorship as possible for Rowcroft Hospice. Swimmers will receive a Sea Swim South Devon swim cap, a medal and something warm to eat after the swim.
