Torbay Rock in association with Riviera FM

This Bank Holiday Sunday (29th August) don’t miss Torbay Rock, a free concert on Princess Gardens in aid of Rowcroft Hospice. The afternoon features a brilliant line-up of local musical talent as well as the team from Riviera FM, the English Riviera’s new community radio station, transmitting live with even more great tunes, games and amazing give-aways.

The fun starts at midday, with live bands performing from 1pm till 6pm.

Acts include:

Pitchbend – a four-piece rhythm and blues/rock/soul band

Darkside – one of the UK’s best Pink Floyd tribute acts

The Iconyx – An amazing young local 4-piece band playing covers and their own catchy material

Lauren & Lane – a local acoustic duo playing acoustic guitar, harmonica and a stomp-box

The team from That Saturday Show on Riviera FM will be joined by other familiar DJ’s from Torbay’s best new radio station, to play even more great tunes and keep you entertained.

Riviera FM is currently available online at www.riviera.fm and will be doing a special two-week live broadcast in September on 106.2 fm before going onto an FM frequency in Spring of 2011. Incredibly cheap advertising opportunities are available for these FM broadcasts so please give us a shout for more information about this high profile event.

Torbay Rocks has been sponsored by Torbay Council, Anderton and Rowlands Fair and Torbay Gig Guide.

Although free, please be generous with donations to Rowcroft Hospice, an incredibly worthwhile local charity.

Please come along and support and also invite everyone you know to this event to help make it a huge success and something that could happen on a regular basis. The area needs as much live music and entertainment as possible, so please help us help Torbay Rock!
